Releases great and cleans up great! I have not had a single failure. I am so impressed with this pan that I just ordered 3 more for gifts. This is by no means my first popover pan. I have been making them for about 20+ years so I am not new to them or easily impressed. Prior to this my favorite pan was the Chicago Metallic pan, which is a good pan, but this one is even better IMO. Please be sure and try the recipe that comes with this pan as it is much better than my old standard one I have used for years. I think the addition of more eggs and butter replacing the oil makes them just fabulous. I have tryed numerous recipes over the years and this one is better than any I have ever had.
